Family Dismisses Reports of Baby Gloria Marriage Breakup
The family of Ugandan gospel singer Baby Gloria has moved to dismiss widespread rumours suggesting that her marriage is on the verge of collapse following allegations circulating on social media.
The claims, which spread rapidly online, alleged that Gloria’s husband, Jonas Mbaleka, was secretly involved in an inappropriate relationship with her sister, Jolly Mirembe Ssenyonjo. The rumours sparked intense debate, drawing strong reactions from fans and social media users.
Addressing the allegations on Monday night, Jolly Mirembe firmly denied the claims, calling them baseless and misleading. In a post shared online, she wrote: “If I had her man, I would be with her man now. Munzijeko akajanja,” loosely telling critics to stop spreading falsehoods.

The speculation was initially fueled by a post from Ugandan blogger Rita Kaggwa, who alleged that Baby Gloria had discovered secret WhatsApp messages between her husband and her sister. According to the blogger, Jolly allegedly referred to herself as a “co-wife,” a claim that further intensified online discussions.
Some fans recalled that during Baby Gloria’s wedding celebrations, the singer had jokingly referred to her sister as a “co-wife,” a light-hearted remark that many believe may have been taken out of context and misinterpreted amid the current rumours.
Despite the online frenzy, neither Baby Gloria nor Jonas Mbaleka has publicly addressed the allegations. However, the couple last shared photos together on January 12, appearing relaxed and happy while having lunch—an image that has cast further doubt on claims that their marriage is in trouble.
Many supporters have urged the public to exercise restraint and avoid spreading unverified information, emphasizing the lack of any official confirmation from the couple involved.
