Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleone has revealed that he recently underwent eye surgery after experiencing rapid vision loss in his right eye, a development that alarmed fans and prompted urgent medical intervention.
In a message shared from his recovery bed, the veteran artist disclosed that his eyesight had been deteriorating quickly, forcing him to seek specialized treatment in Kampala. The surgery was performed at Kampala Eye & Lasik Hospital in Kisementi by Dr. Ludovica Tindebwa and her team.
“I thank you Lord for another great morning!!” Chameleone wrote alongside a photo showing him smiling despite wearing a large medicated patch over his right eye. “I thank Dr Ludovica Tindebwa and the entire Kampala Eye Lasik Hospital team for my eye surgery and your hospitality.”
