Western Music Giant Ray G Set To Hold a Mega Concert At Kololo Airstrip
Western Uganda-based singer Ray G, born Muhairwe Reegan, has announced another major concert, exciting fans who have followed his journey over the years.
The self-styled “King of the West” has enjoyed more than 15 years in the music industry and has made it a tradition to celebrate his success with supporters through annual concerts.
His upcoming show, scheduled for August 7, 2026, will mark his fourth major solo concert and comes on the back of the success of his previous event held at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara last year.
In a notable step for his career, Ray G will this time stage the concert at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala, one of the country’s biggest entertainment venues. The event will be organized by Abitex Promotions.
The move from Mbarara to Kololo is expected to attract fans from across the country and further cement Ray G’s status as one of Uganda’s most influential regional artistes.
Although ticket prices and other details are yet to be announced, excitement among fans has already begun to build ahead of the show.
Several artistes from western Uganda and other parts of the country are expected to perform at the concert in support of Ray G, who has earned a reputation for showing up for fellow musicians at their events.
With a loyal fan base and a string of popular songs to his name, the singer will be hoping to replicate the success of his previous concerts as he takes another significant step in his musical journey.
