Feffe Bussi Confirms Lugogo Cricket Oval Concert Date

With official tickets now in circulation, it has been formally confirmed that Luga-flow rapper Frank Mukiiza, widely known as Feffe Bussi, has successfully secured Lugogo Cricket Oval for what is set to be one of Uganda’s most anticipated music concerts of 2026. Documents shared by the Angry Management team, dated January 22, confirm the official booking of the venue, signaling the beginning of full-scale preparations for the highly anticipated show.

This development marks a historic milestone in Feffe Bussi’s career and his debut concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, one of Uganda’s largest and most prestigious live-music venues. Lugogo has hosted some of the country’s biggest concerts, making it a powerful symbol of artistic arrival and industry relevance.

The concert is officially scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, a date already shaping up to become a landmark moment in Uganda’s hip-hop calendar. Securing such a major venue this early demonstrates confidence in ticket demand and reflects the artist’s growing commercial power and expanding fanbase across the country.

Feffe Bussi’s previous sold-out concert at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo, proved his ability to command large audiences and deliver high-quality live performances. However, the upcoming Lugogo show represents a major strategic leap, moving from a controlled waterfront venue to a national-scale entertainment ground capable of hosting thousands of fans.

Beyond personal success, the concert carries industry-wide significance. Ugandan hip-hop has long struggled for dominance in large-scale venues, but Feffe Bussi’s Lugogo booking symbolizes a new era where hip-hop artists are claiming national platforms and reshaping mainstream entertainment culture.

The early securing of the venue strongly indicates structured planning, sponsorship targeting, brand partnerships, production scaling, and logistics development already underway. Industry observers expect a full production experience, including advanced stage design, professional sound engineering, high-end lighting systems, digital promotions, and large-scale brand activations.

With May 16, 2026, officially locked in, attention will now shift toward ticketing announcements, sponsorship deals, artist lineups, and production partners as Uganda’s entertainment industry prepares for what is shaping up to be a defining hip-hop event of the year.
