Content creator Anthony Katongole, popularly known as Chicken Chicken, has reportedly been arrested following an altercation with comedian Shawa that allegedly ended in the destruction of property.

According to reports, Chicken Chicken was apprehended in Makindye and later detained at Kawempe Police Station over allegations of malicious damage and vandalism.
The arrest stems from an incident that is said to have occurred on Wednesday night at Tonic Bar in Akamwesi Gardens, where tensions between the two social media personalities reportedly boiled over.
The feud between Chicken Chicken and Shawa has been unfolding publicly for several weeks. What began as a disagreement over money gradually escalated into a bitter fallout that attracted widespread attention on social media. In an effort to settle their differences, the pair had even planned a boxing match.
However, the situation reportedly took a turn during a recent TikTok livestream ahead of the proposed fight.
During the broadcast, Chicken Chicken allegedly made remarks about Shawa’s father, touching on his disability. The comments reportedly upset the comedian, who ended the livestream and accused his rival of dragging family matters into their dispute.Hours later, the two men reportedly crossed paths at Tonic Bar, where Chicken Chicken had attended a social gathering.
Witnesses say the encounter quickly degenerated into a heated confrontation. Following the exchange, Chicken Chicken allegedly stormed out of the venue before venting his anger on a Toyota Mark X belonging to Shawa.
The content creator is accused of smashing the vehicle’s windows, leaving it extensively damaged.
Videos and eyewitness accounts circulating online showed an emotional Shawa at the scene as friends and bystanders reportedly urged him to remain calm and seek legal action rather than retaliate.
Police had not yet issued an official statement on the matter by press time, but reports indicate that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
